Troy Northrop was born in Niles, Michigan, 1964 the oldest of 5 children. Became a Christian in 1981. He was immersed into Christ for the remission of sins and received the gift of the Holy Spirit, at the Sturgis Church of Christ.

Attended and graduated at Great Lakes Bible College in Lansing MI 1982 – 1986, with a Bachelor of Religious Education, Major in New Testament.

Has been married to Beth for over 37 years. They have a daughter, Tiffany who married Chris Short. Troy and Beth enjoy their 3 grandkids, Isabelle, Landon, Kenley
